A 30-day read of public Reddit rooms for 1337code Level 1: eight small templates an agent clones, tests, and ships on a stack you own. Not a scrape of this site. Titles and URLs only — scores came back blank.
Rooms: learnprogramming, learnjavascript, webdev, Cloudflare, coding, cscareerquestions, learnpython, ExperiencedDevs, CursorAI, ClaudeAI, LocalLLaMA.
Top of the month. Tutorial hell, depth, first clean compile.
Top of the month. AI PRs nobody understands. Remediation jobs.
top was empty. new worked. Vanilla JS still ships.
webdev, Cloudflare, coding, cscareerquestions, learnpython, CursorAI, ClaudeAI, LocalLLaMA. RSS empty even on residential. Stopped. Did not buy a Store actor.
Level 1 is already the answer to the loudest beginner thread. People want to finish a small real thing instead of looping tutorials, looking everything up, or waiting until a course makes them ready. They want depth without a bootcamp login.
The experienced room is the other half: seniors are buried in AI patches the author cannot explain. Eight tiny, testable, owned-stack builds are the opposite of that sludge.
r/Cloudflare did not answer this pull. That is not “nobody cares about Workers.” It is “this listing did not see that room this month.” Do not wait on it to write the homepage.
npm test → deploy on your account is that artifact.r/learnprogramming — CS hype ruined the field for people who love it · deep knowledge like Tsoding · without constantly looking things up · what actually helped you learn deeply · first error-free code
r/ExperiencedDevs — AI generated code they don’t understand · employed in AI code remediation · new codebase + AI code smells
r/learnjavascript — the only sizeable project I finished was plain HTML/CSS/JS · A.I. vs No A.I
Keep saying eight small builds, tests pass, you deploy. Lead with finished work on a disk you own, not “learn Cloudflare.” The beginner rooms already named the job.
